Aniimo FAQ: Launch, Platforms, Codes and PC Requirements

The Steam store gives September 15, 2026 as the release date, matching the Americas server’s opening. Pawprint’s September 3 letter also lists Xbox cloud gaming among the September 16 launch platforms.

Progress from the earlier tests didn’t carry over. Testers can check their test-exclusive rewards, and any Aniimo eggs saved through the Bonded Promise event, on the Check Test Rewards page of the official Aniimo website by logging in with their test account. Pawprint also told testers eligible for a top-up rebate to claim it promptly.

Is it free to play?

Yes. Aniimo is free to play on Steam, with in-app purchases. Shop items are priced in Lumin Crystals: the Frostburst Punk outfit set, for example, sold for 680 when it arrived on September 30.

Free rewards from the launch post:

• One Rare Prismana Aniimo of your choice after reaching Grade I Wayfarer.
• Aniimo accessories for Aniilog collection milestones.
• Sparkling Cubes, Aniipod Ultras and Tumblers from launch activities and events.
• A Random Perfect Aniimo Egg for total login days.
• Four free outfits from the story, Home activities and sign-ins.
• All four pre-registration tiers, since sign-ups passed 30 million: the Sunlit Meadow outfit, an Avatar Frame, 2 Aniipod Ultras and 200 Glimmer.

Updates sometimes add compensation too, such as 100 Glimmer with the October 15 update. See the Aniimo patch notes.

Are there any Aniimo codes?

No redeem codes appear in Pawprint Studio’s Steam posts as of October 19, 2026. Pawprint says all in-game rewards are handed out through official events and in-game mail, and that it will never ask for a verification code or a payment to claim them. It also warns players not to share accounts, scan unfamiliar QR codes or click unofficial links.

The only codes its posts mention are in-game sharing codes: furniture groups can be shared by code, and face customization uses codes as well.

Is it on mobile?

Yes. The mobile version launched worldwide after the September 22-23 maintenance update, matching the September 23 mobile date Pawprint announced in August. Its Steam posts say “mobile” without naming iOS or Android. Pawprint says a dedicated team is optimizing for popular devices to cut lag and overheating. Logging in on both PC and mobile earns cross-platform rewards, including Glimmer.

Is it on PS5 and Xbox, and is there crossplay?

Aniimo launched on PC and console on September 16. Pawprint’s patch notes include fixes for the PS5 and Xbox versions, such as items bought on Xbox and Xbox PC that weren’t delivered.

• Shared progress: the Americas, Europe and Apac servers keep separate data, but within one server your progress is fully shared across PC, console and mobile.
• Crossplay: the Steam store lists Cross-Platform Multiplayer.
• Linking Steam: after logging in on Steam, you’re prompted to link an Aniimo Pass email account. Skip it and you can link later on the in-game Email Link page.
• Link failed? Open Pawprint’s Customer Support page, go to Quick Support Links > Account Issues, choose Steam Relink (PSN/Xbox) for both sub-categories, and send the platform ID to unlink, your current UID and its email, the UID to unlink, and the platform linked to it.

Can you play it on GeForce NOW?

Yes, since September 17, 2026. Aniimo stays free, but you need a GeForce NOW membership; the Free, Performance and Ultimate tiers all work.

1. Sign up for an NVIDIA GeForce NOW account.
2. If you’re new to the service, get a membership.
3. Open the GeForce NOW app or a supported browser and launch Aniimo.

Pawprint names PC, SHIELD TV, Chromebook and Amazon Firestick as devices you can stream to.

What are the PC requirements?

Pawprint says the specs may change as it improves compatibility and points to its official website for the latest version.

Fixes Pawprint suggests for common problems:

• Black screen: update your graphics driver, switch between DX11 and DX12, or turn off DLSS and Frame Generation on the login screen.
• Steam controller not working: in your Steam Library, open Aniimo > Manage > Properties > Controller, choose “Disable Steam Input” and restart the game.
• Reporting bugs: use Support in the in-game Menu, press F10, or email support_en@aniimo.com.

Which languages does it support?

Steam lists 13 languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, German, Russian, Indonesian, Thai, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Latin America) and Vietnamese. Full audio is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

What hasn’t been announced yet?

• Redeem codes: none so far.
• Which mobile stores: the posts don’t name iOS or Android.
• A date for version 1.1, which Pawprint says will bring Sparkling Hue switching and other changes.
