WARDOGS Season 3: Release Date and What We Know
Bulkhead has not announced a release date for WARDOGS Season 3 as of October 19, 2026. PCGamesN reported on October 17 that the studio may bring it forward significantly because many players don't see Season 2 as a real fresh start. For reference, Season 1 ran from the September 10 launch until Season 2 arrived on October 15.
When does WARDOGS Season 3 come out?
There is no official date yet. Bulkhead has not announced Season 3 in any Steam post as of October 19, 2026.

Season 1 lasted about five weeks. Season 2’s date was first announced in a teaser on September 22, a little over three weeks before launch.
Is Season 3 being brought forward?
It might be. PCGamesN reported on October 17 that Bulkhead may start Season 3 much sooner, because many players feel Season 2 didn’t give them the fresh start a new season should. PCGamesN’s headline says the season could move “significantly” forward, but no new date was given.
That report followed a rough first day for Season 2. Rock Paper Shotgun reported on October 16 that Bulkhead scrapped the cash and XP bonus it had given only to Lonestar, the blue team, after a single day. The same day, PCGamesN reported that Bulkhead acknowledged frustration with that bonus and with how fast Driver progression had become. The Season 2 guide covers what changed.
What will Season 3 include?
Bulkhead hasn’t announced any Season 3 content. Its general plans for Early Access, from the Q&A on the WARDOGS Steam store page, cover the whole Early Access period rather than any one season:
- More maps, weapons and vehicles, including new vehicle types such as fighter jets.
- Expanded weapon categories and more objective variations.
- Deeper progression and a stronger seasonal meta game.
- Seasonal updates that respond directly to how people play.
The Season 1 changelog adds one rule of thumb: each season gets its own XP curve and its own order of item unlocks. Season 2 followed that rule, but Bulkhead hasn’t said anything yet about Season 3’s curve or unlock order.
Will Season 3 wipe progress?
Bulkhead hasn’t said. None of its official posts state whether a new season resets cash, XP or unlocks, and the Season 2 posts don’t describe a wipe either.
